After months of drooling over my friend Alexa's photos from her many outings to Brenda's (a French Creole joint in the Civic Center area), we finally went for brunch today. Everything was delicious. From the strong chicory coffee, to the softer-than-I've ever tasted-in-my-life biscuit, it hit the spot. We were completely glutinous and ordered a flight of beingets. Be very jealous.
