happy hour
Yesterday was a rough one for me, so I treated myself to a really good bottle of wine. Amazing what sitting down and having a glass of wine can do.
vegetable flower
This is how I get Alli to eat lunch. She looked at it and exclaimed, "Jenny, you're the best Jenny ever!" What excitement for a pile of vegetables dipped in humus.

farmer's market
I took the girls down to the Ferry Building this morning for some fruit tasting and boat watching. We'd had a rough start to the day (two tantrums by 9:00) so a little fresh air seemed in order. Alli has really come to love the market and knows to ask me what's in season. The pluots were a favorite today, and all the girls are excited to try the purple pepper for dinner.

renegade swag
I thought I'd share an amazing piece I picked up at Renegade Fair last weekend. I was lucky enough to trade for 2 of them with the incredibly talented Sita Rupe. She having a baby soon, who will be wrapped up in a ciuccio blanket. This one fits in nicely on the mantle.

etsy finds
It's been a loooooong time since I last posted an etsy finds list. Sorry about that. My blog has been having some identity issues lately that need to be worked out. But I spent a good chunk of time browsing etsy lately (like all of Friday night I couldn't pry myself off the couch) and I found some new and very desirable goods.

Oh Canada
My favorite day on our trip was spent on a boat going up the Lawrence River. The Thousand Islands (yes, of salad dressing fame) are individually owned by the rich and famous, and most of them have a summer home built on them. The river freezes over completely in the winter, so they are only accessible for half the year. The clouds were magnificent that day.

out of the country
Hi All,
Did I forget to mention I was going out of the country for the week? Sorry about that. I'm in Kingston, Ontario, Canada for another day, and will post about it soon.
