here's how i scream
easy craft project
Allison and I worked on this garland while the babes napped yesterday. It is quite easy, and can be adapted for different ages. Cut out felt triangles (or have your child do it) and lettering. I used adhesive backed decorative paper which means no need for glue. We had a few orange stickers to put on, and Alli did the leaves using stencils. I used binding and stitched the whole thing together in about 3 minutes.

baby bobby
My dad has never talked much about his childhood, so you can imagine how excited my sister and I were when we discovered a box of 16mm films over the summer. We never met my grandparents on that side, they both died before we were born. Seeing them in such a tangible way has been wonderful and has made them feel real for the first time in my life. I had the films all transferred to digital and a few weeks ago, we were able to see what gems they truly are. As I figure out how to use iMovie, I will share more clips. This one is from 1947, and is my dad.
