it rained this week
Leftover risotto became stuffing for kabocha squash and I finally finished a quilt and pillow project which means my website is one step closer to going live. Winter arrived overnight and while beautiful, the wedding flower delivery to Treasure Island sure was cold. How was your week?

ciucciobaby
The newest recipient of a ciuccio quilt. Apparently she actually crawled back into bed because her quilt is so snuggley. Not many blankets can claim that affect.

a little press
I got an email this morning from someone who is interested in working with ciuccio. Turns out she saw this very lovely write-up.

this week
Thought I'd share with you a few images from my week.
I'm making two quilts for Rose and Radish from the Tandem series. All I have left to finish this one is the biding. Contact the shop if you are interested in buying.
I'm looking for a new place to hang the apple print that I bought at the De Young Museum a few years ago. In the meantime, I'm enjoying its temporary home on my dresser. Also enjoying this amazing hydrangea blossom that I have had for 3 (!) weeks.
Cristina whittled this whale in her wood working class for our yet to be conceived child. It is beyond cute.

snipits
I've been busy.
For a few jars of pickled green beans.
The classic refridgerator pickles.
Spices for ketchup
Ugly flowers for a wedding.
I started a new tandem quilt for the re-opening of Rose and Radish.
I joined a new Flickr group. Each month we'll be assigned to remake a photograph which will specifically work on a skill. This month is about working with jars and reflections.

give a gift
I'm putting together a huge package to send to my preggers friend in Canada. The most exciting item to include is the quilt I made for her. Here it is. Print by umbrellaprints, and all the fabric is organic.
